Account Deletion Policy

Smart Backload

This page explains how users of the Smart Backload mobile application can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

  • Email: Send an email to: mycause.talal@gmail.com
  • Subject line: Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  • Information to include: Provide the registered mobile phone number associated with your Smart Backload account and your account name (if available).

2. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days after verification of the request.

3. Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Profile: User profile information.
  • Contact: Contact details associated with the account.
  • Authentication: Authentication data used for login.

4. Data That May Be Retained

Certain records may be retained even after account deletion, where required by law or for compliance and fraud-prevention purposes.

  • Transaction records: Transaction and activity records may be retained for legal, regulatory, and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Retention period: Such records may be stored for up to 7 years as required by applicable laws and compliance obligations.
